Services for Mary Charlotte Christensen, 82, of Geneseo, Ill., were held May 14 at First Lutheran Church in Geneseo, with Rev. Sue Cripe-Benzon officiating. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Christensen was born May 12, 1904, at Lindsay, the daughter of William and Matilda Born Thomazin. She married Oscar Christensen March 5, 1931, at Lindsay.

Mrs. Christensen was a member of the women's and hospital circles of the church and Geneseo Order of Eastern Star, and was a volunteer at Good Samaritan Nursing Center, Geneseo.

Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Lora Tremayne of Piscataway, N.J.; three sons, Dean of Columbus, Ohio, Bill of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Gary of Eugene, Ore.; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, LaVerna Reeg and Odetta Pearson, both of Genoa.

She was preceded in death by a grandson and four brothers.
