SSgt. James Bundy served as a B-24 top turret gunner on the B-24J-135-CO Liberator #42-110104. He was killed in action (KIA) when the plane was hit by flak and crashed near Lorient, France on 13 June 1944. Missing Air Crew Report 5913.
