E.H. Boyer Dies of Heart Ailment; Found in Field E.H. (Sparkey) Boyer, long a resident of Centerview, was found dead yesterday in a wheat field on the A.C. Owings farm a mile and a half southeast of Centerview. Mr. Owings found the body at 5:30 o'clock. Mr. Boyer was 64 years old. Sheriff W.O. Fortney was notified by Mr. Owings and a physician was summoned who said the death was caused from a coronary occlusion. No inquest will be held.

The funeral will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Brauninger chapel and burial will be in Sunset Hill. The family will be at the chapel between 7:30 and 9:30 o'clock tomorrow evening when friends may call.

Mr. Boyer was born February 17, 1896, near Hopkins, Mo., and was a son of Vinton and Laura VanCamp Boyer. He came to Johnson County with his parents when he was 12 years old, and had lived here much of the time since. He was a rural carrier for the Kansas City Star for several years while living in Independence.

Mr. Boyer and Ruth Huffman of Noblesville, Ind., were married there December 22, 1915, and were parents of two sons, who with their mother survive. Herbert E., a son, lives at Centerview and Harold is of Mill Valley, Calif. He will arrive tonight. Other survivors are five grandchildren; a brother, D.W. Boyer of Audubon, N.J.; and three sisters, Mrs. Roy Penn of Bellflower, Calif., Mrs. Floyd Irle, Centerview, and Mrs. Don Ocheltree of Grandview, Wash.

Mr. Boyer was a member of the Warrensburg Elks Lodge.

Services Tomorrow for E. H. Boyer
Funeral services for E.H. Boyer of Centerview will be held at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the Brauninger chapel. The Rev. J.E. Simpson of Pittsville will officiate. Burial will be in sunset Hill and the pallbearers will be Frank Repp, Wallace Dalaney, Frank South, A.C. Owings, Laverne Stabenow and Spencer Elliott.
