BESSEMER CITY - Nellie Juanita Costner Neal, 94, died Feb. 28, 2011, at Robin Johnson House, Dallas.
She was born April 5, 1916, in Gaston County, to the late Thomas Lee and Mamie Holland Costner. Nellie retired from Pharr Yarns and was a member of Rhema Outreach Ministries, Kings Mountain.
Funeral service will be 3 p.m. Thursday at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home Chapel, with Ches Robbins and Josh Conrad officiating. Visitation is one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
She was the oldest living member at the last Costner Reunion in May 2010
Interment will be at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City
She is survived by a brother, Jerry Costner of Bessemer City; sister, Doris Tino of Clover, S.C.; many nieces and nephews She is preceded in death by her husband, Coley L. Neal; Brothers; Rev.Oscar R Costner, Earl J Costner, Russell V Costner, Samuel Costner, Otis Levern Costner. Sisters; Eva Mae Detter; Beatrice Callahan; Rozella Ford; Peggy Costner
