Mrs. Carl Richter

Funeral services are being held today (Thursday) at 2 P.M. at Phillips Funeral Home for Mrs. Carl (Mildred Amelia) Richter, 81, of 1778 Charms Road, Wixom. She died Monday, June 9, at her home after a three year illness. The Rev. Robert Warren of the Wixom Methodist Church officiated at the funeral and at the burial in the Worden Cemetery.
A housewife, Mrs. Richter has lived 30 years in Wixom. She was born July 22, 1888 in Southfield Township, the daughter of John and Sarah Cooley Rogman. She and Carl Richter were married January 17, 1917 in South Lyon.
She attended South Lyon schools, was a member of the Maccabees and attended Wixom Methodist Church.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Cora Bondy of South Lyon and Mrs. Ella Bailey of Grand Rapids; two brothers, Clifford and George, both of South Lyon; and several nieces and nephews.
