John Rogman Dies at 92; Funeral Here
John Rogman, for many years a resident of South Lyon, died Tuesday morning, March 8, at the Green Lake Rest Haven, Green Lake, Michigan, at the age of 92 years. He had made his home there for the past one and one-half years.
Mr. Rogman was born in Germany. For many years he and his family made South Lyon their home. Mrs. Rogman died in 1920.
Before going to the Rest Haven at Green Lake, Mr. Rogman spent about a year and a half with his daughter, Mrs. Cora Bondy, in Detroit.
He is survived by three sons and four daughters, namely: William Rogman of Avon, Idaho; Clifford Rogman of Plymouth; George Rogman of South Lyon; Mrs. Mildred Richter of Wixom; Mrs. Bondy of Detroit; Mrs. Emma Scott of Brighton, and Mrs. Ella Bailey of Grand Rapids. There are 17 grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at Phillips Funeral Home Thursday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock. The Reverend Harriet Hink of the Four Square Gospel church of Detroit will officiate. Burial will be in the family lot in South Lyon Cemetery. Members of the I.O. O F. will serve as pallbearers.
