Mrs. Lottie Calvert, 85.
suddenly taken very ill at the
home of her daughter and husband,
Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Jordan,
in Otselic earlv Thursday
morning. She was taken to the
Cortland Memorial Hospital
where she passed away the
same day.
The deceased was born Oct.
14, 1878, in Addison, N. Y.. the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John
Chappel. She was twice married;
her first husband, deceased,
was Mr. Banks. Of this
union there were four daughters
born, Mrs. Clyde Jordan of Ot-
selic, Mrs. Bernice B. Parks of
Utica, Mrs. John Satterly of Nor-
wich, and Mrs. Margaret D. De-
gront of Homer; also two sons,
Leo Banks of Ithaca and Law-
rence Banks of Homer, who sur-
vive; also a son, Bernard Calvert
of Cortland, child of her second
marriage. Other survivors are
26 grandchildren, 38 great grand-
children, and 13 great-great grand
children.
