Charles Francis Warner, b. in Rochester, Wis., Jan. 14, 1844. He has resided at Villa Grove, Saguache Co., Colo. He enlisted as private in Co. M. 1st Wisconsin Cavalry, Dec. 18, 1861, was promoted in turn to: corporal, sergeant, and lieutenant, served a year in Missouri, then went to Tennessee, Kentucky, North Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, and Mississippi, was in the Wilson raid, honorably discharged July 19, 1865. Married July 11, 1869 Amy Brown, of North East, {Erie Co.}, Pa. and moved to near Fort Dodge, {Webster Co.}, Iowa. Children: i. Maud M., b. Jan. 21, 1871; ii. Edrick H., b. Aug. 14, 1872; iii. Charles J., b. Sept. 27, 1876.
