SETH WARNER son of Jonathan Jr., and Anna Ripley Warner, born October 20, 1802, in Pittsford, Vt., died in Lind {Twp.}, Waupaca Co., Wis. February 5, 1881. He was a farmer. Married September 13, 1832, at Charlotte, Chautauqua Co., NY. {to:} SUSAN SKINNER born April 3, 1813, died in Lind {Twp., Waupaca Co., WI.}, August 9, 1865.

2. William Franklin Warner, b. in Fredonia, Jan. 5, 1836, d. Jan. 15, 1918. He was a gunsmith, and resided at Lebanon, Kans. Married, Dec. 30, 1860 Hannah Lamphear, who was born in Middlebury, Vt., daughter of Zebulon Lamphear. Children: i. Lyman Arthur, b. in Lind, Wis., May 1864, d. Mar. 17, 1888; ii. Francis Adelbert, b. at Minnesota Lake, Minn., Mar. 21, 1866; iii. Ella May, b. at Alma City, Minn., Sept. 25, 1871, resides in Lebanon, Kans., m. Luther G. Trueblood, b. Oct. 27, 1855, has a daughter: Minnie M., b. Oct. 13, 1892; iv. John, b. at Alma City, Jan. 1, 1874, d. Jan. 17, 1902; v. Estella N., b. in Lebanon, Kans., Dec. 15, 1878, m. Arthur B. Miller, b. Aug. 8, 1877: has five children: Lovie M. and Charles Lovis, twins, b. Nov. 8, 1901; Bessie Gertrude, b. Feb. 10, 1905; Louise Beatrice, b. Sept. 11, 1911; and Harley Lycurgus, b. Apr. 26, 1913.

3. Henry Clay Warner, b. in Rochester, Wis., July 20, 1837, d. at Lind, Wis., May 2, 1893, where he had resided. He was in a printing office, and later was a farmer. He served in the Civil War, in Co. B, 14th Wisconsin Regiment, was in the battle of Shiloh, the Vicksburg and Atlanta campaigns, at Nashville, Mobile at the capture of the Spanish Fort, was clerk of the Freedmen's Bureau in the summer of 1865, mustered-out Oct. 1865. Married in East Troy, Wis., Mar. 21, 1868, Annie Brownley, b. Sept. 25, 1843, in Spencerville, Ont., Canada, daughter of James and Ann Stitt-Brownley. She resides in Madison, Wis. Children b. in Lind: i. Marian Howard, b. June 6, 1869, d. Apr. 2, 1898; ii. Winnie Susan, b. June 4, 1871, is statistical clerk in the office of the State Board of Health in Madison, 1916.

4. Charles Francis Warner, b. in Rochester, Jan. 14, 1844. He has resided at Villa Grove, Saguache Co., Colo. He enlisted as private in Co. M. 1st Wisconsin Cavalry, Dec. 18, 1861, was promoted in turn to: corporal, sergeant, and lieutenant, served a year in Missouri, then went to Tennessee, Kentucky, North Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, and Mississippi, was in the Wilson raid, honorably discharged July 19, 1865. Married July 11, 1869 Amy Brown, of North East, {Erie Co.}, Pa. and moved to near Fort Dodge, {Webster Co.}, Iowa. Children: i. Maud M., b. Jan. 21, 1871; ii. Edrick H., b. Aug. 14, 1872; iii. Charles J., b. Sept. 27, 1876.

5. Helen Marion Warner, b. in Lind, May 5, 1853, resides near Stevens Point, Wis., m. William Dakin [sic] {Dakins}, who died before 1916. Children: Jessie, Hattie, Mary, Winnie, Elmer, Ethel, Mabel, Merle.
