Burial will be in Good Hope Cemetery under direction of Kinner-Stevens Funeral Home of Jena.
Mr. Wilks died Monday in Columbia Heights Nursing Home after a long illness.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Susie Wilks of Olla; one daughter, Mrs. Ella Hickingbottom of Lake Charles; two sons, W. T. Wilks of Olla, and Albert Wilks of Gilbert; one sister, Mrs. Lillie Mae Ewing of Pineville; four brothers, Taylor Wilks of Lake Charles, Perry Wilks of Olla, Cleve Wilks of Urania and Hardy Wilks of Harrisonburg; 27 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
