Wilks' funeral services will be at the Standard Baptist Church in Olla, with the Rev. James Simons and the Rev. Doris Dearman officiating.
Burial will be in the Harris Chapel [Cemetery] here under the direction of Riser & Son Funeral Home of Columbia.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Inez Weed Capps of Olla, Mrs. Johnny Faye Dannehl of Hebert; two sons, Earl Ray Wilks of Columbia, James Virgil Wilks of West Monroe; one sister, Mrs. Lillie Ewing of Pineville; three brothers, Hardy Wilks of Harrisonburg, Cleve Wilks of Urania, Taylor Wilks of Lake Charles; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
