Ethel F. BUCHER, 90, Rt. 1, Silver Lake, died at 3:35 a.m. today at the Peabody Retirement Home, North Manchester. She was born Jan. 4, 1896 in Kosciusko County to Isreal and Laura Belle HITE LANDIS. She lived all of her life in the Akron area. On May 25, 1912 she married Harmon O. BUCHER, who died Jan. 4, 1964. She was a member of the Silver Creek Church of God. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Worthy (Mildred) CLINKER and Mrs. Richard (Donna) FRENCH, both of Silver Lake; three sons, C. Edward BUCHER, Rt. 1, Mentone; Robert B. BUCHER, Ormond Beach, Fla., and Gerald BUCHER, Churubusco; nineteen grandchildren; forty-six great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren. Preceding in death were a son, Earl BUCHER, and a great-grandchild, two sisters, and five brothers. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Silver Creek Church of God with Pastor Randy SAMUEL officiating. Burial will be in the Silver Creek Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron.
