Funeral services for Mrs. Carl (Alma) Amundson, 71, Benson were held at 2 p.m. at Our Redeemers Lutheran Church in Benson, MN. Mrs. Amundson died Friday, March 17, at her home in Benson.
Mrs. Amundson was born August 12, 1889 in Pope Co., daughter of the late Andrus and Ragnil Aaberg. She spent her early life in Pope Co. and on June 20, 1911 was united in marriage to Carl Amundson.
Surviving are: four sons, Harris, Minneapolis; Arthur and Willie, Benson, and Curtis, Willmar; two daughters, Mrs. Elmer (Violet) Lee, Benson, and Mrs. Ole (Deloris) Brothen, Minneapolis; one sister, Mrs. Alfred Erickson, Minneapolis; two brothers, Anton and Gilman Aaberg, Starbuck; 21 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
