I typically work on cemeteries in areas where emigrants from the area around Gran, Norway settled (aka Hadeland).
If you have additions or corrections for sites I manage, please use the edit tab and give me the FAG ID #'s. I look at the edits received and deal with them promptly. I know how frustrating it is when folks ignore them. Also, if you know the correct info, please use the edit tab with the drop down boxes to enter the correct date(s) and/or linkup ID's... I manage thousands of sites, so let's make things easy...
If you are requesting the transfer of the grave of a close family member, please use the Edit tab to send your request for each individual and tell me how you are related.
If you have questions about an edit I sent you, please send me a message - and be sure to give me the grave's ID number so I can take a look.
Since I am not related to most of the persons whose graves I manage, I typically will not have any further information on them (unless they are my relatives or they come from Hadeland, Norway).
We all need to try to avoid setting up duplicates. But it is very easy to do accidentally. Also, please do not set up large numbers of "cemetery unknown" memorials. Do your research and determine first where the person is buried before you set up the memorial.
When you take grave photos and are getting ready to post them: Do a Search on FAG first and be sure that the person is not already set up. If someone else has already set up the grave, just upload your photo to that site. Do NOT set up a new site. Doing so results in large numbers of duplicates that will need to be deleted or merged by FAG Admin.
Finally, the use of please and thank you would be very much appreciated. Remember that those of us who set up memorials are volunteers, so please be polite...
