Jessie married John C Grant in Scotland around 1897. John was already a United States Citizen traveling abroad to visit his family when he married Jessie.
They had two children in Scotland - Two girls- Winifred Isabelle (1898-1947), and Lillian J (1903-1985). A son born in Newry, Ireland - Ralph Edward (1901-1970) AT this time it is unknown where Ralph is buried.
Jessie's husband John returned to America and Jessie and the children followed later on October 9,1911. They settled in La Mesa near San Diego, California.
