Dixon Snodgrass, of Fairfield township, who was visiting at the home of Dr. W.T. Houston and other Greensburg relatives for several days this week, was the victim of pickpockets at the P.R.R. station here yesterday afternoon. His wallet containing $35 in money and valuable papers was stolen either on the train or just as he was getting on board.

DIXON SNODGRASS
Dixon Snodgrass died at his home in New Florence on Wednesday, January 3, at 12:20 o'clock, after an illness of about a year, aged 67 years. he leaves his widow and the following children: Mrs. O.F. MeCoy, of Fort Palmer; Mrs. R.D. Love, of New Florence; Mrs. Hays Halferty, of Fairfield township, Westmoreland county; Mrs. Clara Igo, of New Florence; James L. Snodgrass, of Johnstown, and George L. Snodgrass and Dixon J. Snodgrass, of New Florence. The funeral was held Friday afternoon, with interment in the West Fairfield cemetery. Rev. McDonald, pastor of the New Florence Presbyterian church, conducted the services.

Dixon Snodgrass, 67 years of age died Wednesday morning at his home in New Florence after a long illness of kidney trouble. He was a native of West Fairfield, this county, in which neighborhood he passed practically all his life. He is survived by his widow and the following children: Mrs. C.F. McCoy, Fort Palmer; Mrs. R.D. Love, of New Florence; Mrs. Hayes Halferty, of Fairfield township; Mrs. Clara Igo, of New Florence; James L. Snodgrass of Johnstown and George L. Snodgrass and Dixon J. Snodgrass, of New Florence. The funeral will take place at 2:30 o'clock (this) Friday afternoon, with interment in the West Fairfield cemetery. The Rev. Mr. McDonald, pastor of New Florence Presbyterian church, will conduct the services.
