BAY ST. LOUIS --- Forrest S. Summers, 80, died Wednesday, May 15, 2002, in Hancock County.
Mr. Summers was born in Logtown and was a resident of Bay St. Louis. He was employed as a mechanic for Chevron, working offshore. He was a veteran of WWII, serving in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife, Fannie Summers of Bay St. Louis; two sons, F.S. "Skip" Summers of Clearwater, Fla. and Steven F. Summers of Waveland; two daughters, Linda Hayes of Carriere and Debra Stewart of Picayune; one brother, Edwin Russell of Hillsdale; two sisters, Kathryn Martenson and Mamie McRee, both of Picayune; 14 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be tonight, from 6-9 in the McDonald Funeral Home in Picayune.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, in the Waveland United Methodist Church, with burial to follow in the Biloxi National Cemetery.
