Mrs. Rosa Blair
Funeral services were held Saturday morning from Saulters Funeral Home Chapel for Mrs. Rosa Blair, 79, formerly of Silver Creek, who died Wednesday at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Franklinton, Louisiana where she had resided for the past four years. Rev. Toxie Hedgepeth and Rev. Ray Hodges officiated. Interment followed in the Cliburn Family Cemetery with Saulters Funeral Home in charge.
Pallbearers were James Ray Benson, James Earl May, Chuck Lambert, John Barber, Toxie Barber and Victor Barber.
Mrs. Blair was a native of Lawrence County where she and her late husband, George A. Blair, operated a country store. For approximately sixteen years she had resided in Franklinton where she was a member of Springhill Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, J. W. Blair of Tampa, Florida; Harold Blair, Elwin Blair both of Silver Creek; one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Bobbie) Berry.
