Bobbie Nell Blair Berry, age 83 and a resident of the Springhill Community, near Franklinton, LA, died at 8:25 am on Wednesday June 15, 2016 at her home. She was a longtime member of Springhill Baptist Church where she formerly taught Sunday school and vacation bible school and played the piano for many years. Bobbie enjoyed gardening and tending to her roses. She liked to sew and watch birds feed from the many feeders she kept around her home. Bobbie helped care for many young children in the community but truly cherished the time spent with her own grandchildren and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents George Alvin Blair and Rosa Barber Blair, 2 sisters Idel Blair Benson and Genevieve Blair, and 4 brothers George E. Blair, James Blair, Harold Blair, Everette Blair.
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Friday June 17th from 5 pm until 8 pm and after 9 am on Saturday. A funeral service will be held at 10 am Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jerry Kennedy officiating. Burial will follow in the New Hebron Cemetery in New Hebron, MS.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great-grandsons.
