Daniel was an extensive landholder in Rehoboth North Purchase, afterwards Attleborough and now Cumberland, RI. He was town treasurer of Attleborough and then town clerk of Cumberland until his death at 61 yrs. His will is on the records of Cumberland. He had 3 children. Burial in the Attleborough City Burying Ground which apparently became the Newell Burying Ground.

Inscription

"The following inscription is upon his tombstone in the Attleborough City Burying Ground, so called:
'In memory of Ensign Daniel Peck who departed this life ye 6th of November A D 1750 in ye 61st year of his age.'
His wife was Sarah Paine, daughter of Samuel Paine."
