Obituary - Miss Reinhard
Miss Grace Elizabeth Reinhard, 74, of Hanford, died Saturday afternoon in a local hospital following a lenghthy illness.
Born in Bath, Pennsylvania, Miss Reinhard came to Hanford with her parents and brother in 1910. She was the daughter of the late Gustav T. Reinhard, founder of the Reinhard Granite Works.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, having been a faithful choir member and Sunday School teacher for many years. Active in the Order of Eastern Star, she was a past matron and served as guardian of Job's Daughters for many years. Her other civic activities included charter membership in the Hanford Business and Professional Women's Club.
She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Anna C. Reinhard, and a brother, Stanley E. Reinhard, both of Hanford.
Note - Located at the Hanford United Methodist Church Window # 6, "Blessing the Children," reminds us that Christ loved the children and taught that we must become as little children, with child-like faith and trust in divine love if we are to enter the Kingdom of Heaven.
This window is a memorial to:
Gustav Theodore Reinhard 1865-1937
Anna Caroline Reinhard 1868-1970
Ruby Bloyd Reinhard 1887-1935
Grace Elizabeth Reinhard 1889-1963
