Stanley Edwin Reinhard, 77, died in a local hospital December 8.

He was a native of Bath, Pennsylvania, and lived in Hanford for the past 54 years, having operated the Reinhard Granite Works here for 50 years.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Hanford, the American Monument Association, having held the franchise for the San Joaquin Valley for the Rock of Ages Monuments for over 50 years.

He was also a member of the Hanford Masonic Lodge 279 F&AM, Royal Arch Masons, Knights Templar, Hanford Commandery, Shrine Temple, and a 50 year member of Hanford IOOF, Woodmen of the World and the American Legion. He was a World War I veteran.

He was survived by his widow, Mrs. Grace Stewart Reinhard, and his mother, Mrs. Anna C. Reinhard of Hanford. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ruby Bloyd Reinhard; his father, Gustav Theodore Reinhard and a sister, Grace Elizabeth Reinhard.

Note - Stanley's father, G.T. Reinhard, was the organist at the dedication of the current Hanford United Methodist Church building in 1927. One of the gifts to the church was the corner stone which was presented by G.T. and his son Stanley.

Note - Located at the Hanford United Methodist Church Window # 6, "Blessing the Children," reminds us that Christ loved the children and taught that we must become as little children, with child-like faith and trust in divine love if we are to enter the Kingdom of Heaven.
