Gay was the oldest of three sisters. She attended Westminster College and was graduated from St. Marks Hospital School of Nursing in 1952. She worked as a nurse for 30 years at American Fork Hospital.
After retirement, she devoted her life to caring for her mother, husband and her children.
SURVIVED BY her sons, Scott Nielsen and Mark (Nan) Atwood. 15 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Sister, Rosalie Bayer of Bosier City, Louisiana.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY her husband, son, Dale; daughter, Nancy Nelson; by her sister, Dixie Clark.
