Prominent Man Dead.

HUNTINGTON--Frederick J. Waddell, one of the prominent men of Huntington, died at an early house [sic], at his home, No. 1454, Third avenue. Mr. Waddell died of chirrosis [sic] of the liver from which he had been a sufferer for several weeks.

Frederick Joseph Waddell, who was but slightly past middle life, was born in Middleport, 0., and reared to manhood in Mason City, W. Va. He was educated in the public schools and in the Ohio State University at Columbus. His first business occupation was as manager of a salt works at Hartford City. Following this he went to Chattanooga, Tenn., as general southern agent for the Hazard Powder company. This company was later taken over by the Dupont interests, and he continued with the Dupont interests for about twenty years, being located at Chatanooga [sic], Cincinnati and Huntington. After leaving the Dupont company he represented the Keystone National Powder company, as district sales agent until the time of his death.
