Harold Laird, 73, of Flora died at the Clay County Hospital in Flora, IL.
He was the son of Millie Laird of Cisne.
Mr. Laird was born in Wayne County, the son of Curt and Millie Sparr Laird. He married the former Ruth Bolen Sept. 13, 1938 in Cisne and she survives.
He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Flora VFW and American Legion.
Survivors include his wife; his mother; a son, Howard; a daughter Jean Mason; two sisters, Marie Bullard & Thelma Garrison; four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father and one brother.
Funeral services were held at Hosselton Funeral Home with burial in the Laird Cemetery located west of Enterprise.
