Curt C. Laird, 84, of rural Geff died at Memorial Hospital from a heart condition.
A retired farmer, Mr. Laird had been previously hospitalized and then discharged to the home of his daughter.
He was born in Wayne County April 5, 1886, the son of William & Catherine Rea Laird.
On September 23, 1911 he was married to Millie Sparr, with four children born to their union. Preceding him in death were a son, his parents, four brothers and four sisters.
Survivors are his widow; a son, Harold Laird; daughters Thelma Garrison and Marie French; & two grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at DeSelms Funeral Home with interment in Laird Cemetery near Enterprise.
