Mrs. Ruth Laird, 67, of Flora, died at Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon. She had been in poor health.
She was a native of Cisne and a sister of Earl Bolen of Cisne.
She was born at Cisne, the daughter of Alonzo & Gertrude Atteberry Bolen.
In 1938 she was married to Harold Laird who preceded her in death. Also preceding her were her parents and two brothers.
She was a member of the VFW and American Legion Auxiliaries at Flora.
Surviving are a son, Howard; a daughter, Jean Mason; a sister, Edna Harris; a brother, Earl Bolen, four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Funeral services were held at the Hosselton Funeral Home with Rev. Sam Totten officiating.
Interment was in Laird Cemetery near Enterprise, IL.
