Mrs. Margaret P. Henson, age 99 of Smyrna, died Saturday, July 1, 2006. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Carmichael Funeral Home Chapel in Smyrna, with Dr. Steve Bingham officiating. Burial will be in the Westview Cemetery.
A native of Vinings, Mrs. Henson was employed in the retail clothing industry as a seamstress in the fur department and salesperson. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Peachtree City. Surviving are son, Robert Carter of Sun City Center, FL; 2 sons-in-law, Riley Curtis, of Smyrna,, James D. Price, Jr. of Gainesville; 3 grandchildren, Dow and Brian Kirkland, Michael Carter; 2 great-grandchildren, Lewis Curtis, Angela Kirkland; 3 great-great-grandchildren, Landon James Edwards, Kaley Grace Edwards, Sydney Anne Edwards.
