Survivors include a daughter, Martha (Marvin) Hamby, Sharpsburg; a son-in-law, Ben H. Gatlin Sr., Peachtree City; a sister, Margaret Hanson, Peachtree City; grandsons, Ben H. (Reba) Gatlin Jr., Celebration, Florida, and Wayne (Sharon) Hamby, Palm Harbor, FL; and great-grandchildren, Dawn (Robert) Johnson, Many (Jose Gabriel) Roundtree and Brian Gatlin.
Services were at First Baptist Church of Peachtree City with Rev. Steve Bingham officiating. Interment at Forest Hills Memorial Park, Forest Park. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Peachtree City, was in charge of the arrangements.
