Bessie died at the age of three of cancer of the face.
This is all the information known in 1984 when Art Lang compiled the family history.
(The following information was given to me by Frances Blecha who has done extensive research on the Blecha Family line.)
I have located the ship manifest of Frantisek & Frantiska (Sebek) Blecha. They immigrated on Aug 3, 1866, with 11 children. The youngest was listed as Anna, age 1, and she died at sea ... her name is designated with an "X" on the manifest, indicating that she died enroute. We searched and searched for the manifest, and I finally located it with the last name of "Paleska". Ship name was "Bark Reinhard", Bremen to Baltimore. I have entered the youngest child as "Anna Bessie", date of birth about 1865, and date of death Aug 1866 on my genealogy chart. I know Art and Arvid had other information, as you have entered on findagrave, but I believe I have located accurate documentation for the youngest child. The 12th child of Frantisek and Frantiska (their second oldest, Jan "John") emigrated to America on April 18, 1867, arriving at Baltimore on May 27, 1867. He sailed with the Franz and Josefa (Blecha) Wenzl family (his uncle and aunt), and other family members on the ship "Johanne Wilhelmina".
