Quintin was married twice. He was 1st married to Blanche Buddeke in 1946. From 1948-1953 they had four children together Quintin Jr., Gary, Sueanne, and Stephen.
In 1967 he had another child, Theadora Kella, with a woman named Janet Steele. Quintin did not believe he was the father and he never acknowledged Theadora (Teddi) as his daughter. She searched for his children and found them in 2001.
In 2015 Theadora took a DNA test and in 2016 so did Quintin's daughter, Sueanne, and she and Teddi matched as 1/2 siblings with 2246.16 cM.
