KILGORE - Services for Ruben Sheffield, 77, of Kilgore, will be noon Saturday, February 5, 2011, at Waters Temple COGIC in Winona, with Supt. Rickey E. Johnson officiating.
Burial will follow in Kilgore Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Cunningham Funeral Home.
Mr. Sheffield died Monday, January 31, 2011, in Kilgore.
Born September 24, 1933, in Rusk County, he served in the U.S. Army and was a member of Waters Temple COGIC.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra Sheffield; children, La Trese and Derrick Sheffield and Anetra Page; brothers, J.B. and Wesley Sheffield; and sister, Erma Jean Hicks. Viewing will be 12:30-8:30 p.m. today, February 4, 2011, at the funeral home.
