Death Claims Mother of Ten
Mrs. Sarah Opal Acton Dies Following Childbirth at Home Near City.

Mrs. Sarah Opal Acton, 31, wife of Marshall Acton, died last night at 10:30 o'clock at the family home northeast of Petersville following the birth of a son. The baby also died and will be buried in the casket with his mother.

Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Hege and Flanigin funeral home, conducted by the Rev. P.G. Nau. Burial will be made in the Section cemetery.

Mrs. Acton was born in Decatur county, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Imlay, but lived in this county after her marriage in 1921.

She was the mother of ten children, eight of whom survive. They are Marshall, Jr., Gene, John, Geneva Mae, Norma, Marilyn, Mona and Alice. Her husband, three brothers, Russell Imlay of this city, Roy of Hartsville and Lester of Kokomo, and her parents also survive.
