Walnut Grove - - Services for Eldridge Leeper, 89, Route 2, Walnut Grove, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Wilson-Brim-Daniel Chapel, Ash Grove, with the Rev. John R. Perryman officiating. Burial will be in Ash Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Leeper died at 12:20 p.m. Monday in Ash Grove Nursing Home after a short illness.
An Army veteran of World War I and a native of Ash Grove, he had been a resident of Ash Grove Nursing Home since 1980 and was a lifelong resident of the Ash Grove and Walnut Grove areas. He was a farmer and stockman and a member of Concord Baptist Church near Walnut Grove.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Hawkins, Ash Grove; four sons, Robert, Springfield; Francis, Wichita, Kan.; Joe, Cassville; and Willis, Walnut Grove; 17 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Ash Grove Nursing Home.
