Mrs. Rosa Cook Passes Early Tuesday Morn
Pioneer Matron Dies At Home Of Daughter Mrs. Leitha Bannon - Was Sister Late M. L. Woodman
Mrs. Rosa Cook of Lewistown passed away Tuesday morning at 6 o'clock after a long illness at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Leitha Bannon at 810 Evelyn street.
She was 73 years of age and had made her home in Montana for the past 25 years. She is survived by eight children, all of whom are living: Lyle of Los Angeles, William and Ray of Orland, Calif.; Claude of Brooks; Mrs. Leitha Banon of Lewistown; Mrs. W. E. Nix of Pierre, S. D.; Mrs. J. E. Goggins of Concord, Calif., and Mrs. Fred Colver of Brooks, also two brothers, William Woodman and Henry Woodman, both of Doniphan, Neb.
The late Mrs. Cook is a sister of M. L. Woodman, who passed away in this city a few years ago.
Funeral arrangements are not completed but will be announced later in The Democrat-New.
