Bienvenido Rios Reyes, age 73, our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother, died February 12, 1990.

He was born March 22, 1916 in Arecibo, Puerto Rico to Angel and Orocia Pastorcia Reyes. He married Mercedez Perez and was married for 43 years. Bienvenido worked at Kennecott Copper for 28 years as a drill and blast powderman.

Survivors: wife, Midvale; children, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Reyes, Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Reyes, both Sandy; Minerva Ramirez, Midvale; Juanita Reyes, New York; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Pedro B. Reyes, Otilla Ortiz, both Puerto Rico; Angelita Rivera, Texas; Cecilio R. Reyes, Miguel R. Reyes, both Salt Lake City; Jose R. Reyes, New York. Also survived by many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.

Funeral mass Thursday, February 15, 1990, at 10 a.m. in St. Therese Catholic Church, 75 E. Lennox St., Midvale. Vigil and Rosary will be held Wednesday at 8 p.m. in the Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State, where friends may call Wednesday, 6-8 p.m., and Thursday from 8:45-9:45 a.m. Interment, Midvale City Cemetery.
