Wayne Williams-Macksville. Wayne Williams , Macksville farmer and auctioneer, died Thursday morning at St. John Memorial Hospital on his 56th birthday.
A native of Stafford county, Mr. Williams was born at St. John Nov 20, 1896 and had lived at Macksville since 1904.
Survivors include the widow, Ann, of the home; a brother, Winford, of Sterling, and a sister , Mrs Nona Beckerdite, Loveland, Colo.
Funeral services will be a 2 pm Saturday in the Christian Church here. Masonic services and burial will be in Farmington cemetery near St. John.

Wayne Williams was born to William G and Nancy May Williams at St John, Kansas on November 20, 1896. He was the first child born in a family of three. He departed this life after a brief illness of only a few days at the Hospital in St John, Kansas, on November 20, 1952, at the age of 56 years.
He was united in marriage to Annie Howard on May 25, 1918 at Coldwater, Kansas. Two children were born to this union, Winston Howard and Ronald Royce.
Wayne confessed Christ as his Savior and was baptized on November 18, 1913 placing his membership with First Christian church in Macksville, Kansas. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Macksville and a past member of the Macksville Post of the American Legion.
Wayne has been well known around Macksville and vicinity for years as an auctioneer and farmer. He was elected Township Trustee in the November 4th election, receiving the second highest number of votes in the precinct.
Wayne is survived by his wife, Ann, his two sons and daughter-in-laws of , Winston and Lois Williams of Coldwater, Kansas, and Royce and Raye Dene of Greensburg, Kansas; one sister, Mrs Nona Beckerdite, Loveland, Colo, one brother, Winford, Sterling, Kansas; three grand-daughters, and many other relatives and a host of friends.
