My grandmother was sister-in-law to Nona. I can remember as a young child going into town to shop. We often went to the home of Aunt Nona to share a cup of coffee and conversation. I recognized the home when I was again in Macksville in 1960. These were such good memories. I specifically remember the white wooden drop-leavve table in the kitchen. Nona's daughter still owns the table, 2014.
