Springfield-Eileen (Burns) Potter, 83, formerly of Cambria Street, died Monday in local retirement home. She was a cook for the city schools for 25 years and retired in 1968. A life-long resident, she was a communicant of Holy Cross Church. Her husband, Wesley S Potter, died in 1986. She leaves two sons Gerald Thomas of Agawam’s Feeding Hills section, and John W of Lenox; a sister Anna Mae Bosini of Feeding Hills; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. The funeral will be Wednesday morning at Sampson Chapel of the Acres funeral Home and the church, with burial in St Michael’s Cemetery. Calling hours are this afternoon and evening.
