LeeRoy, 60, died Sept. 19, 1999 in OKC. Born Sept. 1, 1939 in Britton, OK. LeeRoy always enjoyed riding his motorcycle with his buddies out at Bricktown Charlies and he was a member of the Cushman Motor Scooter Club. Preceded in death by his wife Peggy Payton in Feb. 1983. He is survived by his 3 sons, Allen L. Payton and wife Judy and their kids Travis & Cassie Payton of Edmond, Jimmy Payton and his kids Dylan & Ashleey Payton of Coyle, OK, and Ronnie Payton and his wife Jeanie and theirkids Tara & Jenny Payton of Coyle, OK; mother, Merna Couch of OKC; 2 brothers, Doyle Payton of Lamesa, TX and Dean Payton of Edmond; 3 sisters, Johnnie Lee Long, Merna Faye Chilton, and Mamie Connors all of OKC; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
