Vern Donald Silcox, 45, died January 8, 1994 at his home of cancer.

Born March 22, 1948 in Murray, Utah to Donald N. and Ruth Jeannette Evans Silcox. Married Rosemary Boeckman in Salt Lake City, Utah. Later divorced.

Vern loved hunting, fishing, and animals. A Veteran of Vietnam, he also worked for Wheeler Machinery. Vern was kind-hearted and loved everyone. He has always been there for whomever needed him. He never let anyone down and he made his mark in our hearts and our memories forever.

Survivors: Former wife, Rosemary Brown; sons, Shannon, Kim, Michael; daughter, Kathleen, all Midvale; one granddaughter, Hope Ann Marie Silcox; mother, Mrs. Floyd (Ruth) Dexter, Midvale; sisters, Karen Hilborn and husband, Tom; Sheila Brown and husband, Duane; Nyla Walton and husband, Bill; Cheryl Burns and husband, Kenny; brothers, Vaughn and wife, Linda; Kevin Silcox; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by father, Donald Silcox.

Funeral services Wednesday, January 12, 1994 at 11 a.m. in the Goff Mortuary, 8090 South State, where friends may call Tuesday, 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday one hour prior to services.

Interment, Midvale City Cemetery.
