Paul A. Krebs, 86, Claimed By Death
Glenville – Paul A. Krebs, a resident of the Glenville area most of his lifetime, died last night at 7:45 at Rest Haven Convalescent Home, York. Husband of Mrs. Celesta Rohrbaugh Krebs, he was 86.
Mr. and Mrs. Krebs had been residing the past six months with their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Roy W. Miller, 2472 Wildon Drive, York.
Mr. Krebs was a former director of the Glen Rock State Bank and had been serving on the boards of the York Fire Insurance Company and the Codorus and Manheim Farmers Association. He was a member of the Lutheran congregation of St. Jacob’s (Stone) Church.
Besides his wife and daughter, Mrs. Miller, he is survived by two other children, Merle Krebs, Brodbeck, and Mrs. Seymore Doll, Spring Grove RD 2; eight grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and two brothers, William M. Krebs, Hanover, and Lloyd E. Krebs, Glen Rock RD 2.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Geiple Funeral Home, Glen Rock. Rev. Dr. Kenneth S. Ehrhart, Mr. Krebs’ pastor, will officiate. Interment will be in St. Jacob’s (Stone) Church Cemetery.
