Lloyd E. Krebs
GLEN ROCK – Lloyd E. Krebs, 82, husband of Mrs. A. Marie Graser Krebs, Glen Rock RD 2, near Centerville, died at 4 a.m. Saturday in Memorial Osteopathic Hospital, York.
He was born in Codorus Township, son of the late William F. and Catharine McCleary Krebs.
Mr. Krebs was a farmer in the Centerville area where he had resided the past 27 years. He was a member of the Lutheran Congregation of St. Jacob's (Stone) Union Church and Sunday School and Glen Rock Hose and Ladder Co.
Surviving besides his widow are: Two daughters, Mrs. Robert A. Bortner and Mrs. Jesse F. Garver, both of Glen Rock RD 1; a son, William G. Krebs, Glen Rock RD 2; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren, and a brother, William M. Krebs, Middle Street, Hanover.
His pastor, the Rev. Richard C. Weaver, and the Rev. Dr. Kenneth S. Ehrhart will officiate at funeral services today at 2 p.m. at the Geiple Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Jacob's (Stone) Church Cemetery.
