Funeral for Mrs. Alice Smithy Weaver, 92, of Decatur will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home with the Rev. Bobby Halbrooks and Rev. Doug DeGraffenried officiating.

Burial will be in Roselawn Garden of Memory. The family will receive friends today from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Weaver died Thursday at Decatur General Hospital. She was the widow of Charles F. "Doc" Weaver and was co-owner of Weaver Broom Company of Decatur for more than 50 years. She was a member of East End Methodist Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Katherine deGraffenried of Decatur; five grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will include Murray deGraffenried, Wallace Bryant Jr, Bryan Bryant, Bryan Peden, James Franklin Weaver and Joe Ed McMurry.
