Margaret was a self taught guitarist and enjoyed playing music. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren, whom she adored. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Margaret Mary Arnaud, 69, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 19, 2010 at Lafayette General Medical Center surrounded by her family.
Survivors include three daughters, Margaret Mary Poirier Hebert and her husband, Darrell of Youngsville, LA.; Emelie Poirier Bankston and her husband, David of Lafayette, LA.; and Camille Nanette Poirier Guillory and her husband, Jason of Youngsville, LA.; three sons, Carrol Wilson Poirier, Jr., Leopold Marcoff Poirier and his wife Bonnie Poirier of Youngsville, LA. and Charles Stewart Poirier and his wife, Jessica of Youngsville, LA..
Thirteen grandchildren, Alexandre (Alex) and Morgan Broussard, Kristen, Lauren and Matthew Bankston, Michael and Sarah Poirier, Kelcie and Peyton Poirier, Taylor and Dustin Arceneaux, Lainie and Olivia Guillory; two sisters, Liz Arnaud Trahan and her husband, Calvin of Carencro, LA. and Pris Arnaud Fontes and her husband, Dave of Carencro, LA.; and three brothers, Edwin Arnaud and his wife, Millie, Huey Arnaud and his wife, Lucy and John Arnaud, all of Carencro, LA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Florida Badeaux Arnaud; one daughter, Mary Poirier; one son, Marc Antoine Poirier; two sisters, Nan Arnaud Quebedeaux and Edna Mae Arnaud Cormier; and one brother Jerry Arnaud.
