BOONEVILLE - Uliss Lee Hopkins, 71, retired carpenter, died Thursday at Booneville Baptist Memorial Hospital after a short illness. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at McMillan Funeral Home with burial in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery near here. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a Baptist.

Hopkins leaves two daughters, Mrs. Annie Martin and Terri Bates, both of Booneville; a son, Paul Hopkins of Las Vegas; four sisters, Mrs. Lucille Hare and Mrs. Estelle Taylor, both of Booneville, Mrs. Willodean Windham of Thrasher and Mrs. Yvonne Cahill of Kansas City, Kan.; a brother, Earnest Hopkins of Booneville; and four grandchildren.
