[Note: Daughter of William Preston & Alice Odessie "Dessie" (Billingsley) Gideon; married Charles Leander Rogers 18 Jun 1909 - 30 Jun 1984]

Gladis Birchel Rogers was born Dec. 20, 1914, and passed away at her home in Sparta on Aug. 17, 1944. She was a faithful worker in the Chadwick church where she was a member. Surviving are her husband, Charles Leander Rogers; a daughter, Leota Lucile, her mother, Mrs. Dessa Gideon; and brothers and sisters. Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon in Fairview church by Mrs. Stone with burial in the Fairview cemetery under direction of the Chaffin Funeral Home of Ozark.
