Tecumseh-Lila Marie Shavalier, 60, of 1004 Murry Drive, Tecumseh, died Tuesday at Herrick Hospital where she had been a patient since Feb. 5. She was born Sept. 1, 1920 in Macon to Fred and Venia (Fielder) Creger. On Dec. 30, 1944 she married James D. Shavalier in Tecumseh. He survives. Mrs. Shavalier attended the Ford School in Macon and had been a Tecumseh area resident almost all her life. Survivors also include one daughter, Mrs. harold (Cathy) Shelly of Whitney, Tex.,; three brothers, Donald and Gerald, both of Tecumseh, and Harvey of Clinton; one sister, Mrs. Fred (Freda) Brighton of Tecumseh and three grandsons. She was preceded in death by a son, Robert, four brothers, one sister and her parents. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Proctor Funeral Home Tecumseh with the Rev. Allan Gray officiating. Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery, Tecumseh. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 tonight.
