OBITUARY. ANOTHER REVOLUTIONARY SOLDIER GONE. DIED, at his residence near Middlebrook, on Thursday the 29th of June last, Mr. William McCutchen, after a short but protracted illness which he bore with great patience and fortitude. The deceased is the last, except two, (it is believed,) of all the Revolutionary Soldiers in this end of the county. He lived to a good 'old age, and died full of years, being at the time of his death, near his ninetieth year. When but a youth, he was drafted in the service of his country, where he served several tours in the Revolutionary struggle. He was temperate in all things, and industrious, even to extreme old age. As a father he was kind, as a husband, affectionate and true, as a neighbor, candid and obliging! He has left a large family and extrusive circle of friends and acquaintances to mourn his death. In life, he was esteemed by all who knew him, and he always showed himself worthy of that regard which a generous people were wont to bestow upon a Revolutionary Soldier.— The deceased was for many years a steady and consistent professor of Religion, and we trust that he has passed from the world of conflict to "the rest prepared for the people of God."
