Allen W. Gulliford dies at his home, 152 West Eighteenth
street, early Monday morning. His death was unexpected as he had been ill but three days. Mr. Gulliford was 82 years of age and has lived in Erie for the past 30 years. He had a host of friends who sympathise with the family in their bearevement. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Wm. Bartles and Mrs. Wm. Cobb; and seven sons, James and Frank of this city: Samuel, of Shadeland; William of Painesville, O., and George, Ernest and David of Conneaut, Ohio. The funeral was held from the home of his son, Frank Gulliford, 801 West Twenty-sixth street, Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock. The remains were grought here for burial.
